You may have received correspondence from Angelus Law on 31 January 2024.

As you are aware, Angelus Law were unable to secure Professional Indemnity Insurance so were unable to continue with your case for the time being. They have, therefore, transferred your file to us on a temporary basis until their PII cover is restored or alternative measures have been put in place. To ensure the smooth transition of your claim and to ensure continuity of service, we have also taken over the employment of a number of Angelus staff who will continue to work on your file.

If you have not yet provided your consent in respect of the ongoing work on your file, we require to sign a consent form to allow Ryans Solicitors to work on your file.

This does not impact your right to request that your file is transferred to an alternative law firm of your own choosing. If you wish to transfer your file to an alternative law firm, please do contact us and we will facilitate the transfer of your case.

It would greatly assist if you were able to provide your instructions as to whether:

1. You wish for Ryans Solicitors to commence work on your file and act as your legal representative.

OR

2. You wish for your case to be transferred to an alternative law firm to deal with your claim. If you can also provide the contact details for your new firm so that we may assist in making arrangements to transfer your file.

Please provide your instructions by following the link below to complete the appropriate form of authority.

In the meantime, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us by email on enquiriesLPL@ryanslaw.co.uk or by telephone on 0151 559 8449.

Kind regards
